Samsung and TomTom announced a partnership with the GPS software for smartphones Samsung's Bada OS. TomTom will provide voice-guided navigation, POI, 3D maps, speed camera alerts, live traffic updates, and various other GPS features which are owned by Bada before.

TomTom that will work with Samsung has maps covering over 200 countries around the world and save millions of POI. Bada maps will be available first for Samsung Wave 3, but it was unclear whether the navigation software is available free of charge, as in Android with Google Maps, or Nokia with Drive app.

Until now, you can find a variety of roads in Bada phone, which is actually supported by TomTom, but it's still in testing, so maybe Bada 2.0 phones get free navigation in order to mingle with the more popular mobile OS out there? We have to wait and see what this partnership brings Bada OS phone owners to travel.
