Tutorial for Create a New Virtual Machine with Promox

Promox a virtual environment that you can use as a solution in a multiple desktop PC. With Promox, you can install various OS in one PC. In contrast to the VirtualBox or VMware is installed on the OS (Windows or Linux), it can be installed Promox in a PC that is completely empty alias without OS. Then after Promox installed, you can install multiple OS on it. Interesting is not it? Its use is very easy.
Here's how to create a virtual machine (VM) in Promox new.
1. Login to Promox web administration page. Open your web browser and enter https://192.168.1.1:8006. Change your IP with the IP Promox.
2. Click the Create VM. Then create a new VM wizard window will appear. Give the name of your VM in the VM column name.
3. Select the type of OS that you want to install.
4. Choose your installation media. You can upload ISO images into the folder / var / lib / VZ / template / iso. Thus, the ISO file you will read here. Or you can also use the DVD / CD installation.
5. Configuring the hard disk to the new VM. You can set the capacity of hard disk in the Disk Size.

9. When finished press Finish and you are able to boot into your new VM.
